About the Role

BlueOcean Tech Services is hiring an experienced QA Engineer / QA Tester to help ensure that software products delivered to international technology and AI clients are reliable, stable and production-ready.

This role requires someone who is highly detail-oriented but can also work at speed. You should be comfortable testing web, mobile, API and AI-enabled products, identifying risks before release and working closely with engineering, product and DevOps teams to prevent avoidable production defects.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, regression suites and release checklists.
• Test web applications, mobile applications, APIs, dashboards, integrations and AI-enabled workflows.
• Identify, reproduce, document, prioritise and track defects.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, usability and cross-browser testing.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, product managers and DevOps teams.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing to prevent recurring defects.
• Support release-readiness and production-quality checks.
• Build and maintain automated tests where appropriate.
• Continuously improve QA processes, test documentation and product-quality practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional QA/software-testing experience.
• Strong hands-on manual testing experience across web and/or mobile products.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman, Insomnia, Swagger or similar tools.
• Experience with test-case management and bug-tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of regression testing, acceptance criteria, release testing and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or Appium is strongly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and structured documentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience testing AI products, SaaS platforms, fintech, marketplaces or enterprise software is an advantage.
