QA Engineer – Regulatory Reporting
As a QA Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of regulatory reporting solutions that help our clients meet their obligations with confidence.
You'll thrive in this position if you're detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative — someone who brings a rigorous approach to quality assurance and is energized by working across teams in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure correctness of implementation.
- Build, upgrade, and maintain test environments and test data to support ongoing quality assurance needs.
- Document test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios, and maintain the test management system with a high degree of autonomy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across data transformation and reporting workflows, ensuring timely and reliable outcomes for clients.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, data engineering, or regulatory reporting.
- Practical understanding of generative AI and large language models (LLMs), including hands-on experience applying AI tools — such as Claude Code or similar — to day-to-day QA and automation tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret SQL queries, with a solid understanding of how data flows and is structured within reporting systems.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Axiom ControllerView platform or a comparable regulatory reporting tool.
- Background in financial services or regulatory technology (RegTech), including familiarity with Basel III/IV frameworks.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, or scripting languages such as Python or Java.
