We are looking for a QA Tester to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Develop professional expertise and apply fundamental quality assurance concepts, practices, company policies, and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
• Work on varied problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of multiple factors.
• Apply specialized skills and job knowledge while exercising sound judgment within established procedures and practices.
• Execute assigned testing activities with moderate supervision and guidance.
• Receive general instructions on routine assignments and detailed guidance on new projects or tasks.
• Contribute perspectives, recommendations, and insights to support project delivery.
• Build productive relationships with internal stakeholders, development teams, business users, and external partners.
• Ensure the quality, stability, reliability, security, and performance of solutions delivered across the Digitisation & Automation portfolio.
• Perform testing activities across Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Bot solutions, Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, AI Agents, Microsoft Copilot solutions, Azure AI Foundry solutions, APIs, system integrations, and end-to-end automated business processes.
• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate functionality, performance, security, and business requirements.
• Implement quality engineering principles, test automation frameworks, and continuous testing practices to support production-ready solutions.
• Validate integrations, automated workflows, and business process automations across multiple platforms and technologies.
• Review requirements and solution designs to ensure adequate test coverage and quality standards are achieved.
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of defects and quality issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventative quality improvements.
• Create and maintain test evidence, traceability matrices, test reports, and quality metrics.
• Support regression, integration, system, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers, solution architects, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of best practices in quality assurance and testing.
• Support project delivery while ensuring compliance with business, security, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• ISTQB Foundation.
• Additional course or certification in Quality Assurance.

Experience

• 1-3 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Practical understanding of quality assurance methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Experience testing web, mobile, enterprise, automation, or digital transformation solutions
• Exposure to testing tools, frameworks, and defect management platforms.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of requirements analysis, solution design, testing, defect resolution, and release processes.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to automated testing, API testing, system integration testing, and business process testing would be advantageous.
• Awareness of emerging technologies including AI, automation, cloud platforms, and digital transformation solutions.
