The Quality Coordinator provides proactive administrative support to our Quality Department through application processing, research and reporting, and general administration. This role begins with a focus on basic CLIA application processing. As your training and competency grow, you’ll take on additional routine Quality administrative tasks.
What You’ll Do

- Prepare assigned CLIA applications accurately and on time, escalating state-specific, non-routine, or complex requirements.
- Communicate professionally with clients about application requirements, missing documentation, status, and next steps.
- Conduct routine research to support assigned CLIA application workflows.
- Prepare application correspondence, status updates, and reports accurately and clearly.
- Use and maintain standardized application checklists, templates, and trackers.
- Maintain assigned CLIA application resources and agency contacts.
- Support routine SOP and form updates and rollouts, as well as MediaLab management and builds.
- Maintain application and Quality project trackers, and provide routine document organization and administrative support.
- Support routine Quality calls, emails, and client follow-up.
- Provide responsive customer service and office administration, including answering calls and emails, filing paperwork, and keeping trackers current.
- Create, format, proofread, and edit documents, and handle scanning, mailing, filing, and other administrative tasks for the Quality team.
- Document processes and policies for future training, and suggest improvements that create efficiencies.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years of experience in an administrative support or clerical assistant role in an office environment required; healthcare experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, strong computer software skills, and advanced internet search skills.
- Self-starter with professional, assertive written and verbal communication skills and a customer service orientation.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage a high-volume workload.
- Ability to work independently while keeping communication flowing with peers and leadership.
- Team player who collaborates well on both task-oriented and project-based work.
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive materials.
- Initiative to identify needed changes and suggest improvements.
- Willingness to build application-processing expertise progressively, starting with basic CLIA applications and expanding through training and demonstrated competency.
