The Role

We are seeking a Stuttgart-area Quality Engineer to coordinate customer quality requirements and corrective-action follow-up for precision metal components. This is a remote contract role with occasional pre-arranged customer visits; it is not a factory inspection-line position.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, GD&T, inspection reports, material requirements, and customer quality expectations.

• Coordinate containment, root-cause analysis, 8D, corrective actions, and supporting evidence.

• Support FAI, PPAP, sample approval, NPI, and engineering-change activities where applicable.

• Translate customer feedback into clear actions, owners, and due dates for Yibi’s teams.

• Prepare concise quality status reports and support customer reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant quality, supplier quality, customer quality, or manufacturing engineering experience is preferred.

• Working knowledge of GD&T, inspection methods, 8D, RCCA, FAI, PPAP, ISO 9001, or IATF-style systems.

• Experience with MIM, CNC machining, tooling, or precision metal components is valuable.

• Professional English; German is strongly preferred.

• Legal ability to provide contract services from Germany and willingness to travel occasionally when agreed in advance.
