Interested in a career that matters?
Do you want to help transform Quality from reactive control to proactive, data-driven optimization?
Join our Quality Insights and Optimization team, a growing team of independent experts working to challenge the status quo, drive continuous improvement and turn insights into measurable business impact. Today, the team includes statisticians, a data scientist and strategic project managers, and we are expanding our capabilities to accelerate process optimization and AI-driven innovation across Quality.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence how quality-related processes work across Novonesis, bringing together colleagues across functions and geographies to create simpler, smarter and more scalable ways of working.
The role & your impact
As Quality Process Optimization Lead, you will drive the optimization, alignment and simplification of quality-related business processes across Novonesis, including documentation, workflows and our quality management system.
Your focus will be on creating efficient and scalable end-to-end processes that balance business needs, user experience and compliance. Working globally across Quality and other business functions, you will help move us from today's processes toward simpler, harmonized and future-ready ways of working.
Your key responsibilities in this role
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to simplify, harmonize and optimize quality-related processes across relevant parts of Novonesis.
- Assess existing processes, using data and insights to identify inefficiencies, duplication, root causes and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement effective future-state processes that balance compliance, business needs, efficiency, feasibility, user experience and scalability.
- Drive fit-for-purpose standardization while enabling justified differences based on regulatory, product, customer or business requirements.
- Build alignment and shared ownership across Quality and relevant business functions, including Production, Supply Chain and Commercial, to optimize end-to-end processes rather than individual functional activities.
- Challenge unnecessary complexity and foster a collaborative, pragmatic continuous-improvement mindset, creating clarity around roles, responsibilities, interfaces and decision points.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role
We are looking for someone who combines strong process optimization expertise with the ability to bring people together and turn complex challenges into pragmatic solutions.
You bring:
- A degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Quality Management or a related field.
- 5+ years of solid Experience with structured process improvement methodologies and tools, such as Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, process mapping or similar approaches.
- A strong understanding of end-to-end process design, continuous improvement and process governance.
- A strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate complexity into pragmatic and scalable solutions.
- Strong collaboration, facilitation and influencing skills, with the ability to create alignment and drive change across functions without formal authority.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Additional skills & interests we value
It would be an advantage if you:
- Have experience from a large manufacturing company or another complex global organization.
- Have worked with process optimization in a regulated environment.
- Bring an end-to-end mindset and enjoy balancing business value, efficiency and user experience with quality and compliance requirements.
- Are curious about how smarter ways of working, automation and AI can further improve business processes.
What we offer you
You will join Quality Insights and Optimization at an exciting point in the team's development, as we expand our capabilities in process optimization and AI-driven process innovation.
You will work alongside specialists within statistics, data science and strategic project management, while collaborating broadly across Quality and other functions globally. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape processes across organizational boundaries and contribute directly to our ambition of turning data and insights into action and measurable business impact.
Working conditions
We work according to an office-first principle, with the option to work from home 1–2 days per week after a successful onboarding.
The role is based in Denmark and involves global collaboration. You should expect approximately 5–15 travel days per year outside Denmark.
Application deadline: November 8th, 2026. We will screen incoming applications and invite for interviews continuously during the application period, so please apply as soon as possible. Please note that we only accept applications via our Career Site.
