Quantity Surveyor

Role Description The Quantity Surveyor at Gestores da Telecom will support telecom projects by managing costs throughout the project lifecycle. This part-time, remote role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), analyzing project specifications, and assisting with tender documentation. The Quantity Surveyor will monitor budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular cost reports to project stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include cost planning, cost control, variance analysis, and collaboration with project managers and engineers to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to contractual obligations. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, identifying cost risks, and recommending value engineering opportunities.
Qualifications

• Strong cost control and cost management skills, with experience monitoring budgets and managing project expenditures.
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation and review, including measurement, estimation, and tender documentation support.
• Ability to perform cost planning and forecasting to support project decision-making and resource allocation.
• Experience in cost reporting, including preparation of periodic financial summaries, variance analyses, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with telecom or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Competence with MS Excel and cost management or QS software tools.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment.
