Senior Construction Planner

Role Description The Senior Construction Planner is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules, coordinating project planning activities, and supporting project control processes to ensure milestones are met. The Senior Construction Planner will collaborate with project managers, site teams, and procurement staff to align resource allocation, timelines, and construction sequences with project objectives. Typical tasks include reviewing project designs and specifications, preparing progress reports, identifying risks and potential delays, and recommending corrective actions. The role also includes contributing to best practices, supporting training and knowledge transfer within the team, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Construction Planning and Construction skills to develop realistic schedules and support site execution.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Planning and Project Control skills to manage timelines, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions.
• Candidates should possess relevant Procurement knowledge to coordinate material and equipment availability with construction activities.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in reviewing project data and documentation.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in project planning software and common office tools; experience with construction-related systems is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess relevant experience in construction projects in the MENA region; prior work in Dubai or the Gulf is preferred.
• Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; professional certifications in planning or project management are beneficial.
