Recruiter, CAM Growth Partners
About the role
You know that moment when a candidate's eyes light up because you just described the job they didn't know they were looking for? We're looking for a recruiter who lives for that.
CAM Growth Partners is a recruiting firm built exclusively for the community association management (CAM) industry. We place community managers, executives, and leadership talent with management companies across the country. Our search load has grown faster than our team.
As a Recruiter, you'll own the front end of our searches. That means screening candidates, getting to know what makes them tick, and moving the strongest people forward to our senior team and our clients. You'll work with a small, close-knit team where every search has a named recruiter and nobody gets lost in the shuffle.
What you'll do
- Run phone screens. Have the first conversations with candidates for community manager and CAM roles, take clear notes, and decide who moves on to a deeper interview.
- Source and engage. Review applicants, do targeted LinkedIn outreach, and help keep job posts working so every search has a healthy pipeline.
- Vet thoughtfully. Read resumes critically, ask about employment gaps, review behavioral assessment results, and do your homework before a candidate reaches a client.
- Keep candidates moving. Schedule interviews, follow up for resumes and assessments, gather references, and coordinate background checks.
- Keep the pipeline clean. Log every candidate, note, and status update in our ATS so anyone on the team can pick up a search and see exactly where it stands.
- Prep the handoff. Package strong candidates for our senior team and clients, and contribute to weekly pipeline updates on applicants, screens, and movement.
- Represent the brand. Every call builds CAM Growth Partners' reputation with the people who will become the industry's next leaders.
What you bring
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, agency or in-house, including high-volume phone screening.
- Genuine curiosity about people. You ask the second and third question, not just the first.
- Strong judgment about fit, and the confidence to say "not this one" when a resume looks good but the conversation doesn't.
- Organized, detailed follow-through. Candidates and clients never wonder what happens next.
- Comfort working in an ATS and keeping records current without reminders.
- Clear, warm written and verbal communication.
- Self-starter energy. You can manage multiple searches at once in a remote, fast-moving environment.
Bonus points
- Bilingual (English/Spanish strongly preferred). You can talk with candidates in the language they're most comfortable in and help us reach talent other firms miss.
- Behavioral analytics experience. You've used workplace behavioral or personality assessments and know how to read the results alongside a resume and an interview, not instead of them.
- CAM or property management background. You know what a community manager's week looks like, or you've recruited for HOA, real estate, or property management roles.
- AI-curious. You're excited, not nervous, about using AI tools to speed up sourcing and note-taking so you can spend more time talking to people.
