Position Summary

The Recruitment Officer provides day-to-day talent acquisition support across Australia and offshore locations, driving the full recruitment lifecycle. This includes workforce planning, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, pre-employment compliance, offer management, onboarding, and induction.

Working closely with the client's HR Manager, Recruitment Specialist, and hiring managers, you will ensure recruitment activities are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with Australian regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment operations across Australia, the Philippines, and Qatar.
  • Draft, post, and manage job advertisements across platforms such as SEEK, LinkedIn, and internal channels.
  • Source, shortlist, and screen candidates, including conducting preliminary phone assessments.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and provide candidate evaluations to hiring managers.
  • Complete pre-employment screenings, reference checks, and compliance documentation.
  • Support offer generation, contract drafting, salary documentation, and onboarding workflows.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment trackers.
  • Monitor recruitment inboxes and maintain prompt, professional candidate communication.
  • Update position descriptions, interview guides, and recruitment templates.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding audits to ensure compliance with company policies and legislation.
  • Facilitate new starter inductions and orientations to deliver a high-quality onboarding experience.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Support employer branding, talent attraction campaigns, market benchmarking, and recruitment metrics.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the HR Manager across talent acquisition functions.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR administration within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of modern sourcing methods, ATS management, and candidate selection best practices.
  • Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain high attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software/databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive HR data with strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction while collaborating effectively in a remote/distributed team.
  • Awareness of Australian Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles is highly regarded.
