About Vera Vera is the clinical AI platform used by more than 150,000 doctors across dozens of countries. It was built out of MIT by a small team of six people. We have just closed our Series A and are accelerating this motion. We are not a typical health-tech company. We are engineers, scientists, clinicians who think doctors deserve better tools. Every answer Vera gives is grounded in the medical literature. Every partnership we sign is grounded in mission alignment with the people on the other side. Our clinical council includes faculty members, society leaders, healthcare professionals from around the world who use Vera in their own practice and shape what we build. We are now formalizing the senior clinical voices who lead our work in each major country. We move quickly, we listen carefully, and we work alongside peers who hold us to the same standard we hold ourselves. The role You are Vera's senior clinical voice in Japan, the bridge between us and the medical societies, hospitals, and academic institutions whose members will use Vera. You are not running EHR integrations or compliance work. You are doing the part only a peer-credible clinician can do: opening doors, sitting in partnership meetings as an equal of the people we are trying to reach, and helping us understand how the local ecosystem actually works. What you'll do Make warm introductions to presidents and boards of national medical societies in Japan Sit alongside the founding team in partnership conversations and help us read the room Review pitch decks, agreements, and outreach before they go to your peers Help us prioritize the societies, hospitals, and other actors that matter most Advise on local regulatory and cultural context as it bears on partnerships Remain a trusted local point of contact for partners we sign Who you are Past president, board member, or founding member of a national medical society, or someone with equivalent peer standing Active or recently retired practicing clinician Already known to peer society leaders No commercial conflicts with clinical AI vendors Comfortable working directly with founders at startup tempo Fluent in English
