About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and motivated Nurses to join a growing remote clinical research team supporting patient recruitment for upcoming clinical trials.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with the flexibility of remote working. Working from a secure internet connection, you will review and assess potential study participants, conduct telephone screenings, and help determine suitability for participation in clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone-based screening interviews with prospective clinical trial participants.
• Review patient information and medical histories against study eligibility criteria.
• Perform remote clinical assessments and make informed recommendations regarding patient suitability.
• Accurately document screening outcomes within the study portal and related systems.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients throughout the screening process.
• Maintain compliance with study protocols, data privacy requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with the wider clinical operations team to support recruitment targets and timelines.

Requirements

• Fully registered Nurse with an active professional registration.
• Previous clinical experience in a hospital, community, research, or specialist healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
• Confidence conducting clinical assessments without face-to-face patient interaction.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable computer set-up and secure high-speed internet connection.
• Ability to work as a freelance contractor.

Desirable Experience

• Clinical research or clinical trials experience.
• Telephone triage, telehealth, or remote patient assessment experience.
• Experience reviewing medical records and determining eligibility criteria.
• Knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice).
