Remote | Healthcare Attorney (BigLaw Firms) — $140–$400/hour

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Healthcare Attorneys with substantial BigLaw or top-tier healthcare-law experience and strong expertise in U.S. healthcare regulation, compliance, policy analysis, contract drafting, and legal document review to contribute to an advanced legal AI training and evaluation project.

Selected professionals will analyse complex healthcare laws and regulations, review and annotate legal documents, evaluate compliance scenarios, draft and refine contractual language, and provide nuanced legal interpretations supporting high-quality AI training data. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

Healthcare Regulatory Analysis

• Analyse complex U.S. healthcare statutes, regulations, and regulatory guidance
• Apply expertise across HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute
• Evaluate healthcare regulatory scenarios for compliance implications
• Identify relevant exceptions, requirements, and potential legal risks
• Provide clear interpretations of sophisticated regulatory issues

Legal Document Review & Annotation

• Review legal documents involving healthcare regulation and compliance
• Annotate materials to clarify regulatory concepts and legal reasoning
• Identify inaccuracies, ambiguities, or incomplete legal analysis
• Evaluate documents for consistency with applicable healthcare-law principles
• Maintain rigorous standards of legal accuracy and detail

Healthcare Compliance & Risk Evaluation

• Assess regulatory-compliance issues across realistic healthcare scenarios
• Identify potential exposure under applicable U.S. healthcare laws
• Evaluate legal and operational risks arising from proposed arrangements
• Provide structured feedback on compliance weaknesses
• Apply practical legal judgement to complex fact patterns

Contract Drafting & Review

• Draft and refine contractual provisions involving healthcare-law requirements
• Review agreements for regulatory and compliance implications
• Identify problematic or insufficient contractual language
• Recommend revisions designed to improve legal precision and compliance
• Apply sophisticated drafting standards to healthcare-related agreements

Policy & Legal Research

• Analyse healthcare policies, statutes, regulations, and related legal materials
• Evaluate how regulatory requirements apply to different operational contexts
• Synthesise complex legal sources into clear conclusions
• Distinguish established legal requirements from interpretive uncertainty
• Support project tasks requiring nuanced policy and regulatory analysis

AI Training & Legal Evaluation

• Review AI-generated healthcare-law content for legal accuracy and completeness
• Provide expert commentary and nuanced legal interpretations
• Identify weak reasoning, missed risks, or incorrect regulatory conclusions
• Contribute structured feedback that supports improvement of legal AI systems
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify complex healthcare-law concepts

Ideal Profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Active bar admission in the United States
• Substantial experience practising healthcare law at a major U.S. law firm or top healthcare-focused firm
• Strong expertise in U.S. healthcare regulatory compliance
• Deep familiarity with HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute
• Demonstrated experience reviewing and drafting complex healthcare-related legal documents
• Experience providing advisory services on healthcare compliance matters
• Strong legal research and policy-analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical judgement
• Ability to explain sophisticated healthcare-law concepts clearly
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote project environment
• No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Engagement Details

• Compensation: $140–$400/hour
• Work will involve healthcare regulatory analysis, legal-document review and annotation, compliance evaluation, contract drafting, policy analysis, and AI-output assessment
