Remote Insurance Account Specialist - State Farm Agent Team Member
Who We Are Looking For
Katherine Patrick State Farm in Mount Holly, North Carolina has an opening for a licensed insurance professional to help grow our book of business from a home office. If you enjoy connecting with people, like having a clear scoreboard, and want earnings that keep climbing as your skills do, we would like to talk with you. The role is fully remote, and you will work Eastern Time hours alongside our team.
Day to Day
- Connect with new prospects and existing clients to find gaps in their coverage
- Turn conversations into appointments and quotes, then follow through to a decision
- Track your activity and pipeline carefully in our agency software
- Work toward weekly and monthly activity and sales goals
- Keep learning through product training and continuing education
You Will Thrive Here If
- Earning more when you sell more sounds better to you than a flat paycheck
- You are at ease reaching out to people who are not expecting your call
- You stay persistent, knowing many sales happen several conversations in
Probably Not the Right Match If
- A steady routine with no sales goals is what you are after
- Your strength is servicing existing accounts rather than opening new ones
Requirements
- Current Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses; applications without both licenses cannot be considered
- Ability to work Eastern Time business hours
- A dedicated, quiet place to work and fast, reliable internet
- Clear, upbeat communication over the phone
- A self-starter who keeps activity high without reminders
- Coachable and supportive of teammates
- Prior experience in a State Farm office is a plus, not a must
Perks & Benefits
- Base pay plus commission that is never capped
- Health insurance
- Dental insurance
- Paid time off for vacation, illness, and personal needs
- Paid company holidays
- A defined path to advance in the agency
Earning Potential: $55,000–$90,000 per year
This range shows what you can expect to earn in total, combining base salary, commission, and bonuses, when you meet your performance goals. Starting base is set by your experience and licensing, and with no ceiling on commission, strong performers often finish above it.
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Qualifications to be employees of a State Farm agent are established by each independent contractor agent. By applying/accepting a position with an independent contractor agent, you are not promised, guaranteed, or given a special preference in the selection process to become an independent contractor agent for the State Farm Insurance Companies. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents' employees are not employees of State Farm. Agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
