# Remote Junior Cloud Security Compliance Analyst | AED 12,000–16,000/Month

## About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated **Junior Cloud Security Compliance Analyst** to help assess whether cloud environments follow established security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
In this role, you will support cloud security reviews, maintain compliance documentation, track remediation activities, and collaborate with technical teams to strengthen cloud governance. This is an opportunity for an early-career IT professional to develop skills in cloud security, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
Training and mentorship will be available to help you build practical knowledge of cloud security controls and compliance frameworks.
## Key Responsibilities
* Assist with reviewing cloud environments against internal security policies and approved standards.
* Help document cloud security controls, compliance evidence, and assessment results.
* Support periodic reviews of cloud configurations and access permissions.
* Assist with identifying gaps in security controls and tracking remediation actions.
* Maintain compliance registers, risk logs, and supporting documentation.
* Help prepare reports summarizing cloud security findings and outstanding issues.
* Collaborate with cloud engineers, IT teams, and compliance stakeholders.
* Support evidence collection for internal audits and external assessments.
* Monitor updates to relevant cloud security guidance and compliance requirements.
* Assist with reviewing encryption, logging, identity management, and data protection controls.
* Escalate significant findings to senior security or compliance team members.
## Requirements
* Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent practical knowledge may be considered.
* Basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and cloud computing.
* Familiarity with access controls, encryption, logging, and security configurations.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare clear written reports.
* Good communication and collaboration skills.
* Willingness to learn cloud security standards and compliance processes.
* Ability to handle confidential business and security information responsibly.
**Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.** Academic projects, internships, cloud labs, and introductory certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
## Preferred Skills
* Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

* Basic understanding of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes.
* Awareness of data protection and cloud shared-responsibility principles.
