Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Technical Business Analyst at NSC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, with fixed working hours from 3PM to 11PM Vietnam time (the rest is flexible).

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to bridge business operations and technical solutions through data analysis, reporting, system administration, and compliance support. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, QA, and technical teams to deliver accurate reporting, support operational processes, investigate system issues, and contribute to security and compliance initiatives.

This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with SQL and Power BI, and an interest in business operations, information security, and continuous process improvement.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL queries for reporting, operational monitoring, ad hoc analysis, and controlled data corrections.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for internal teams and customers.
• Analyze business and operational data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Investigate operational and customer support issues in collaboration with QA and technical teams.
• Support business operations through system administration, including Nextcloud user and folder management.
• Assist with Single Sign-On (SSO) setup, configuration, and related technical support.
• Support ISO 27001 compliance activities, audit preparation, and customer security questionnaires.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity while ensuring the accuracy and quality of outputs.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, operational processes, and system efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable operational and technical solutions.

Job Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL for querying, reporting, and data analysis.
• Practical experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. IELTS 7.0 or above is preferred.
• Comfortable working across data analysis, reporting, business operations, and technical support activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and work effectively under guidance.

• Experience with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, security questionnaires, or audit evidence preparation.
• Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies and identity management.
• Experience administering Nextcloud or similar collaboration platforms.
• Experience using AI tools to support reporting, analysis, or operational processes.
• Basic understanding of information security, compliance frameworks, or IT governance.
