We are sharing a full-time opportunity for an experienced Research Marketing Lead with deep expertise in technical marketing, research go-to-market strategy, benchmark launches, publication quality, and industry partnerships to drive the positioning, adoption, and impact of advanced AI research.
Selected professionals will own research GTM strategy end to end, translate complex technical work into credible and differentiated narratives, establish publication-readiness standards, and build distribution strategies that increase adoption, citations, and engagement across research and technical communities.
Key Responsibilities
Research Go-to-Market Strategy
- Own launch strategy for research, benchmarks, evaluations, and technical releases
- Define target audiences, positioning, channels, and distribution plans
- Coordinate launches from initial planning through external release
- Align research communication with broader strategic objectives
- Drive adoption among researchers, developers, and technical practitioners
Research Quality & Publication Readiness
- Establish a high bar for external publication of technical research
- Review methodology, claims, results, and supporting materials for clarity and rigor
- Partner with researchers to strengthen research packaging before launch
- Identify weak or unsupported claims that require refinement
- Ensure published materials remain technically accurate and defensible
Technical Positioning & Narrative Development
- Translate complex AI and ML findings into clear, differentiated narratives
- Develop positioning that preserves technical depth while improving accessibility
- Create messaging for research pages, benchmark releases, and technical content
- Adapt communication for both highly technical and broader professional audiences
- Maintain consistency across research, marketing, and launch materials
Research Adoption & Ecosystem Partnerships
- Build relationships with researchers, developers, technical leaders, and communities
- Identify high-value audiences likely to use, reference, or build on published work
- Support partnerships across research organisations and technical ecosystems
- Monitor emerging AI trends, competitive research, and open questions
- Surface opportunities where new research or benchmarks could have high impact
Impact Measurement & Research Feedback
- Track adoption, citations, engagement, usage, and qualitative feedback
- Evaluate which research outputs resonate with technical audiences
- Analyse performance across different launch and distribution strategies
- Build feedback loops between external audiences and internal research teams
- Use ecosystem insights to inform future benchmarks, evaluations, and research priorities
Ideal Profile
- Experience marketing, launching, or driving adoption of technical research
- Strong background in AI/ML products, developer tools, benchmarks, evaluations, or comparable technical work
- Demonstrated success developing GTM strategies for technical audiences
- Ability to understand complex research deeply enough to assess claims and methodology
- Strong knowledge of the AI/ML research ecosystem
- Familiarity with major research labs, benchmarks, evaluations, and technical communities
- Exceptional written communication and technical storytelling skills
- Strong analytical judgement around research quality and publication readiness
- Experience building relationships with researchers, technical leaders, developers, or practitioner communities
- High ownership and ability to take ambiguous initiatives from strategy through execution
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Background in AI, machine learning, computer science, or another technical discipline is advantageous
- Experience at an AI-native company, research organisation, developer-focused business, or highly technical startup is valuable
- Familiarity with academic publishing, citations, benchmark dissemination, and research adoption is beneficial
- Experience launching research or technical content with measurable adoption or industry impact is highly valuable

- Compensation: $250,000–$350,000/year
- Work will involve research GTM, publication-readiness review, technical positioning, benchmark launches, ecosystem partnerships, and impact measurement
- Strong understanding of AI research and technical audiences is central to this role
- Assignments may involve research publications, evaluations, benchmarks, technical content, and launch campaigns
