Remote Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect (pre-sales) plays a key role in bridging Sales, Product, and Engineering by designing scalable PostgreSQL systems for customers.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Account Executives to secure deals, working directly with clients to develop data models, optimize queries, troubleshoot performance issues, and craft architecture solutions that are production-ready.
They act as trusted technical partners throughout the sales process, gathering customer feedback to inform product development, and creating demos, reference architectures, and technical content.
The role requires hands-on experience with relational databases at scale, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business audiences.
Preferred skills include troubleshooting, system design, data modeling, query optimization, and familiarity with AI tools.
The position is remote, primarily targeting candidates in US time zones.
