Remote Staff AI Engineer

Role Overview:

We seek a Staff AI Engineer to develop and scale our AI Agent platform, enabling automated customer interactions across multiple channels such as voice, SMS, and chat. You will design APIs, services, and infrastructure to support high-volume, real-time workflows, ensuring accuracy and low latency. Responsibilities include full lifecycle management—from architecture to deployment and reliability—plus rapid prototyping and system optimization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver impactful features.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with languages like Go, Python, or Elixir.
• 1+ years deploying AI agents in production environments interacting with tools and APIs.
• Proven expertise in distributed or high-throughput systems, problem-solving, and working across the entire tech stack.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.

Nice to have:

• 2+ years maintaining AI agents in production, designing evaluations for LLMs, and experience with prompt design, safety, and frameworks such as LangGraph or AutoGen.
• Hands-on experience with model fine-tuning and data curation.
