We are looking for a
Research Scientist — NLP
Conduct fundamental and applied research in natural language processing to advance our models and publish/ship novel techniques that improve product capabilities.
Tasks
- Design and run experiments to improve model quality, robustness and generalization.
- Develop novel architectures, training curricula and evaluation methodologies.
- Collaborate with engineering to productionize research prototypes at scale.
- Publish research, present at conferences and maintain reproducible experiment codebases.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to roadmap prioritization for research efforts.
Requirements
- PhD or MSc with strong research experience in NLP or ML (top-tier publications a plus).
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow and training large models (transformers).
- Strong background in statistics, optimization and evaluation metrics for language models.
- Experience with large-scale distributed training and data pipelines.
- Track record of research output (papers, open-source contributions) is a plus.
