Reserve Property Manager

Location: Remote

Hours: UK working hours (9am to 6pm UK)

Industry: UK Lettings

Our client is a UK-based, AI-enabled lettings and property management platform, growing through a roll-up strategy that acquires estate agencies. They buy highly sticky, recurring-revenue landlord portfolios, then layer on best-in-class technology to automate tenant management, payments and post-rental maintenance. They integrate brick-and-mortar agencies into a tech-enabled digital letting platform in around two months, radically improving the experience and efficiency of the business.

They are a fast-growing, product-focused company, backed by top-tier investors and led by a team with deep experience in real estate, technology and operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Reserve Property Manager to join this growing UK start-up. The role will have a strong focus on data management, operational support and customer service.

On one day you may be helping provide property manager coverage at one of our local agencies, and on another you will be resolving challenges faced at an agency that is being integrated. You will be expected to wear multiple hats in quick succession to ensure our core operation functions remain running.

Whilst operating as a stand-in local property manager, you will be expected to facilitate compliance, maintenance, move-out, inspection and support jobs in adherence to our clients tools and processes. When supporting new integrations, you will be asked to cover a number of duties such as manually reviewing or finding data and other data readiness tasks.

What matters most is your ability to learn fast. Property Management is a specialised function and you'll be expected to upskill quickly into the detail of the process. Existing UK lettings experience is a real plus, but it's not essential. If you're a strong individual contributor who picks things up quickly and thrives in ambiguity, we want to hear from you. You'll report to the Reserve Team Lead for Property Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support integrations of new agencies
  • Carry out regular data cleansing, checking information for accuracy, duplication and completeness.
  • Work extensively with Microsoft Office and Google Suite to organise, analyse and maintain data.
  • Work with AI-driven systems and tools to support and streamline business processes.
  • Maintain accurate records across internal systems and databases.
  • Assist with reporting, spreadsheets and other operational tasks as required.
  • Support the wider team with process-driven and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in an early stage UK start-up in a support or operations capacity.
  • Lettings industry experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in data administration, customer service, operations or a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with data cleansing and data management.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology, AI tools and automated systems.
  • Able to work independently and follow structured processes.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Hardware Requirements:

  • Computer or laptop with stable performance.
  • Reliable ADSL/Fibre internet (minimum 50 Mbps).
  • Headset compatible with VOIP systems.
  • Anti-virus installed.
  • UPS/Backup power for load shedding.

The Ideal Candidate

This role would suit someone who is tech-savvy, analytical and process-driven, and who enjoys working with data and systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in an environment where AI is increasingly being used to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency and will be able to adapt quickly as the business evolves.
