Love recruitment, but fancy doing it in-house?
We're working with a well-established UK business that's looking for a Resourcing Advisor to join its internal recruitment team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the fast-paced side of recruitment, particularly finding, screening and hiring people into high-volume roles.
You'll be responsible for helping the business recruit talented people into its contact centre teams, covering everything from reviewing applications and speaking to candidates through to coordinating interviews and supporting successful applicants through the offer process.
And when we say high-volume, we mean it. You'll be working through plenty of applications, speaking to lots of candidates and managing multiple recruitment campaigns at once.
If you're organised, enjoy being on the phone and know how to keep a busy recruitment pipeline moving, this could be right up your street.
What will you be doing?
Reviewing and shortlisting applications for a variety of contact centre roles, including customer service and sales positions.
Conducting telephone screening interviews to assess candidates' experience, suitability and motivations.
Managing high volumes of applications while making sure good candidates don't slip through the cracks.
Coordinating interviews and assessment centres with hiring managers.
Keeping candidates informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process.
Creating and publishing job adverts, and looking for ways to improve candidate attraction.
Managing offers and supporting the onboarding process for successful candidates.
Keeping recruitment systems and candidate records accurate and up to date.
What are we looking for?
First and foremost, we're looking for someone who has actually done high-volume recruitment before.
You don't need years of senior-level recruitment experience, but you do need to understand what it's like to manage a busy recruitment workload, prioritise applications and spend a good chunk of your day speaking to candidates.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing or talent acquisition, whether in-house or agency-side.
Hands-on experience reviewing CVs, shortlisting candidates and conducting telephone screening interviews.
Experience recruiting for high-volume roles, ideally within contact centres, customer service, sales or similar environments.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
Confidence communicating with candidates and hiring managers.
Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office.
A proactive approach to recruitment, with the ability to work independently and keep things moving.
Experience using Workday would be a real advantage, although it's certainly not essential.
What's in it for you?
You'll be joining an established recruitment function within a large, successful business, working alongside colleagues who understand the challenges of high-volume hiring.
It's an opportunity to move into (or continue developing your career in) an in-house recruitment environment, with the chance to take ownership of your vacancies and make a genuine contribution to the business.
The role offers a salary of up to £35,000, alongside hybrid working. You'll need to be within reasonable travelling distance of Nottingham, as there will be an expectation to attend the office approximately once a week.
Interested?
If you've got experience managing busy recruitment pipelines and enjoy the pace of high-volume hiring, we'd love to hear from you.
