As a Retail Consultant within the Retail Vertical Customer Success team, You will build strategic customer relationships, understand customers’ business challenges, and drive value creation through retail measurement insights and consultative recommendations. You will help retailer clients maximise business outcomes, increase customer satisfaction, and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned retailer clients, becoming a trusted business partner.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customers’ business priorities, industry trends, and strategic objectives.
  • Deliver retail measurement insights, analyses, and recommendations that create measurable business value.
  • Drive customer engagement and adoption of NielsenIQ products, services, and solutions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and insight presentations with customers.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer value, satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations and Reporting Hub to address customer needs and deliver solutions.
  • Proactively manage customer expectations and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor customer health, identify risks, and implement retention and growth strategies.
  • Stay informed about retail industry developments and leverage market intelligence to support customer decision-making.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience through proactive communication and consultative support.
  • Contribute expertise and thought leadership to strengthen customer partnerships and business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of the retail and T&D or FMCG industry.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering value.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Hungarian.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
