ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scope of Work / Operational Expertise: Independently complete complex Claim Content, Plan Code evaluation, contract loading, CDM attribute, metadata, and Setup Change Project (SCP) work in Nautilus and related systems.
  • Get the Right Stuff Done — Taking Ownership: Research unclear requirements, resolve claim-formatting and system-edit issues, and carry work through validation and closure. Escalate blockers with findings and recommended next steps.
  • Follow DaVita compliance policies, SOX controls, and data integrity standards; document configuration decisions and supporting evidence.

2. Peer Training, Mentorship & Skill Development (25%)

  • Develop Self and Others: Serve as a day-to-day technical resource, onboard Revenue Specialists, and coach specialists and peers through complex setup tickets using clear explanations and constructive feedback.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and maintain SOPs, job aids, and checklists for recurring workflows. Seek feedback and build expertise in unfamiliar setup work.

3. Quality Control, Data Analysis & Trend Monitoring (15%)

  • Operational Expertise — Root-Cause Problem-Solving: Perform pre-bill and post-implementation QA; including root cause analysis on recurring errors.
  • Use Excel vlookups, Pivot Tables, and formulas to audit configurations, monitor aging and error trends, and share actionable findings with supervisors.

4. Process Improvement & Project Leadership (15%)

  • Drive Change: Identify recurring rework and workflow bottlenecks; lead or co-lead practical improvements, test setup changes, update procedures, and help specialists and peers adopt new workflows.
  • Effective Communication / Influence: Coordinate handoffs and issue resolution with Billing, Collections, IT, Payor Partnerships, and other ROPS Teams. Explain setup impacts, clarify next steps, and keep partners informed through completion.

5. Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

  • Lead the DaVita Way: Model Core Values, communicate with empathy and respect, and foster belonging through team meetings and Village activities.
  • Support special leadership initiatives and projects
