Department: Marketing

Reporting to: Marketing Director (Interim Head of Marketing)

Seniority: Senior | 5+ years

People manager: No

Location: Sweden, preferably the Göteborg area.

Purpose

As the Revenue Marketing Manager at Avinode Group, you own the full digital customer journey end-to-end, from demand generation through to the destination (our web pages). You also own and manage the marketing technology that powers it. You turn marketing activity into pipeline and revenue, working in close partnership with Product Marketing, other parts of the marketing function, Sales and Commercial.

This is a senior role, but at the same time clearly operative in its nature, that owns revenue marketing as competition increases and our offering to members and new logos grows more complex. Where product marketing owns what we say and to whom, you own how we generate, capture, and convert demand across digital channels. The primary focus is new-logo demand generation, complemented by expansion across the existing base, which matters more in the segments where the market is already well-penetrated.

Key Responsibilities

● Own the digital customer journey. Take end-to-end ownership of the digital journey from first touch to conversion across our web properties, ensuring a coherent, optimized path at every touchpoint.

● Demand generation. Plan and run performance-based marketing across digital channels (paid social, search, SEO, email, landing pages) with a focus on acquisition, conversion, and upsell.

● Marketing technology. Own and operate the marketing technology stack, HubSpot as the core platform plus supporting tools, including automation, lead flows, campaign infrastructure, and reporting.

● Web ownership. Own Avinode's web pages as the destination of the digital journey, from conversion optimization to content and structure. You manage the CMS, content, and related tasks to ensure a well-functioning, converting web page.

● Experimentation. Run growth experiments and A/B tests across copy, creative, and channels, and turn insight into action.

● Pipeline partnership. Partner with Sales and Commercial to align marketing activity with revenue goals, MQL definitions, and the wider funnel.

● Expansion & retention. Grow revenue within the existing customer base through lifecycle marketing, cross-sell and upsell, and retention, turning current members into expanding accounts, not just acquiring new ones.

● Measurement. Measure performance across the funnel, report on KPIs, and continuously improve ROI and efficiency.

Performance Metrics

● Pipeline and revenue contribution from marketing (MQLs, conversion, CAC, LTV).

● Performance of the digital journey: traffic, conversion rates, and web performance.

● Effectiveness and efficiency of the marketing technology stack and automation.

● ROI of demand generation activity across channels.

Essential Skills

● Strong command of the digital marketing funnel and performance metrics. Fluent in CAC, LTV, MQLs, and conversion.

● Hands-on, CMS-level experience building and publishing web pages yourself. Not brief-and-review experience, build-and-ship experience.

● Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and act on it.

● Strong collaboration across Sales, Product Marketing, and Commercial and the ability to drive the agenda internally for revenue marketing.

● Excellent communication and writing skills in English, comfortable in writing copy as part of your work.

Experience & Background

● 5+ years in growth, performance, revenue, or digital marketing, with clear seniority and end-to-end ownership. B2B or SaaS strongly preferred.

● Proven track record owning marketing tech (ideally HubSpot) and a digital journey that delivers measurable pipeline.

● Comfortable working across time zones, including occasional meetings with US colleagues.

● Relevant education - a degree in marketing, business or similar at Bachelor level or comparable.

● Experience in business aviation or an adjacent B2B industry is a plus.
