What You’ll Work On
- Design and deliver robotics software for autonomous and semi-autonomous platforms using ROS/ROS2
- Build localization and mapping workflows (SLAM), navigation behaviors, and robust ROS2 interfaces
- Develop perception pipelines (camera/LiDAR/IMU), calibration, tracking, and multi-sensor fusion
- Implement motion planning, trajectory tracking, and feedback control (PID/MPC) with state estimation (Kalman filters)
- Validate in simulation (Gazebo/Isaac-style), replay logs, run field tests, and harden for deployment
- Improve reliability with monitoring, fail-safes, unit/integration tests, CI/CD, and performance profiling
- Partner with mechanical, electrical, and AI teams on drivers, calibration, time sync, and edge compute constraints
- Write clear documentation and participate in code reviews and architecture decisions
