Roofing Estimator / Supplementer (BL)

Position: Roofing Estimator / Supplementer Location: Remote | Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Roofing Estimator / Supplementer to support our growing team. This role is responsible for creating accurate estimates, reviewing project scopes, identifying missed opportunities, and managing insurance supplements to maximize project profitability while maintaining compliance with carrier requirements. The ideal candidate has strong Xactimate experience, a solid understanding of roofing systems, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Estimating & Scope Review Prepare, review, and finalize roofing estimates using Xactimate Analyze insurance scopes and identify missing line items or code-related requirements Ensure estimates are accurate, complete, and aligned with project specifications Supplement Management Prepare and submit supplements to insurance carriers Negotiate and communicate with adjusters to secure approvals Track supplement status and follow through until resolution Communication & Coordination Serve as a point of contact between homeowners, insurance representatives, and project managers Provide clear updates regarding estimate revisions, supplements, and approvals Maintain professional relationships with carriers and stakeholders Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records of estimates, supplements, approvals, and correspondence Update CRM and project management systems with all relevant project information Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and insurance requirements Qualifications 3+ years of experience in roofing estimating, insurance restoration, or a related construction field Strong proficiency in Xactimate (Level 2 certification preferred) Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and code requirements Experience working with insurance carriers, adjusters, and claims processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience with AccuLynx, JobNimbus, CompanyCam, or similar CRM platforms Knowledge of residential insurance claims and documentation standards Experience estimating additional trades such as gutters, siding, or interior repairs Commercial roofing estimating experience Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills What We're Looking For Detail-oriented and highly organized Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Accountable and self-motivated Professional and confident communicator Results-driven with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team Success in This Role Success means consistently delivering accurate estimates, securing timely supplement approvals, maintaining organized project documentation, and helping maximize revenue opportunities while providing a seamless experience for both customers and insurance partners.
