Sales Agent

Role Description This full-time remote Sales Agent role at Akún México focuses on promoting and selling insurance products and services to new and existing customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inbound inquiries, conducting outbound calls, explaining insurance coverage options, and guiding potential clients through the sales process. The Sales Agent will build and maintain strong customer relationships, provide accurate information about policies, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The role also involves using CRM tools to track leads and sales activities, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and collaborating with the team to share feedback and participate in ongoing training and process improvements. The Sales Agent is expected to represent Akún México in a professional manner and uphold all regulatory and compliance standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to clearly explain insurance products, handle questions, and interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver a positive, supportive experience throughout the sales and post-sales process.
• Candidates should possess proven Sales skills to identify customer needs, present suitable solutions, close deals, and consistently work toward meeting performance targets.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance products and regulations or the ability to learn quickly, interpreting coverage details accurately and responsibly.
• Candidates should possess Training-related skills, such as the ability to participate in ongoing learning, apply new techniques, and potentially support peer coaching when needed.
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams, with strong self-management, time management, and reliable internet connectivity.
• Basic proficiency with CRM systems, office software, and digital communication tools.
• Prior experience in insurance, call center environments, or sales-focused roles is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, marketing, or related fields is an advantage.
