Sales and Marketing Specialist (w/ experience in Salesforce, lead generation)

Primary Responsibilities The Marketing Specialist supports the German Cosmetics, Dermatology & Personal Care business by executing marketing activities, generating leads, supporting sales processes and activities, maintaining CRM systems, and providing market intelligence to drive business growth. The role works closely with commercial, scientific, and operational teams across regions. Specific Responsibilities At all times, complies with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. Marketing & Digital Communications Support the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Create, update, and publish content for websites, newsletters, and social media. Develop marketing materials, presentations, brochures, and customer-facing content in line with SGS brand guidelines. Coordinate webinars, customer events, and trade show activities incl. budget control Salesforce & Commercial Support Maintain and improve data quality within Salesforce. Support campaign management and lead tracking in Salesforce. Generate reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure timely lead assignment and follow-up. Support opportunity tracking and sales pipeline reporting. Train team members as a salesforce superuser Lead Generation Develop and implement lead generation activities to support business growth. Identify new opportunities through digital marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and market outreach. Monitor lead conversion performance and recommend improvement measures. Support nurturing campaigns to increase customer engagement and sales effectiveness. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis Conduct ongoing market research and industry monitoring. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities. Monitor competitor activities, service offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning. Prepare market intelligence reports and management summaries to support strategic decision-making. Marketing Operations Maintain marketing databases and contact lists. Track campaign performance and marketing KPIs. Support budget tracking and administrative marketing processes. Coordinate external vendors and marketing agencies as requiredEnsure full knowledge of, and adherence to, SGS procedures, guidelines, and quality standards. Ensures work area in GBS is kept clean and presentable at all times. Remains familiar with SGS quality assurance procedures. Complies to all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures Profile Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field. Experience 3–5 years of experience in Marketing, Marketing Operations, Business Development Support, or Commercial Excellence. Experience working with Salesforce CRM. Experience in B2B marketing is preferred. Experience in cosmetics & personal care, dermatology, life sciences, healthcare, CRO, laboratory, or technical services industries is an advantage. Very good English skills (C1 level) Required Skills Strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and digital marketing tools. Create compelling visual content and marketing materials, translating complex scientific topics into clear and engaging graphics and content Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work effectively in an international and virtual environment.
