Monoscope is hiring its first SDR. This is a founding role: there is no inherited sequence to run, and you build the outbound motion from the first email.

Monoscope is an open-source observability platform. Teams use it to ingest, store and analyze logs, traces and metrics on their own S3-compatible buckets — no vendor lock-in, no per-host pricing. It is OpenTelemetry native with 750+ integrations. Self-host it for free, or run it as managed cloud at https://monoscope.tech.
The people you will reach are DevOps engineers, SREs and platform leads who are tired of what Datadog and New Relic cost them. That is a real, loud pain. Your job is to find the ones feeling it right now.
What you will do
• Research and build target lists: teams on Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, or a homegrown ELK stack that is falling over.
• Run cold outbound across email, LinkedIn and X, and write messages an engineer will actually reply to.
• Book qualified demos and hand them over with real context.
• Follow up on inbound from the open-source project and the community.
• Keep the pipeline honest — track what you sent, what landed, and why.
What we look for
• You have done outbound into a technical audience and booked meetings from it.
• You write short, specific, human messages. Engineers can smell a template.
• You are curious enough about infrastructure to learn the domain fast. You do not need to be technical on day one, but you do need to want to be.
• You are self-directed. Nobody will hand you a list.
Terms
• Contractor engagement, fully remote, open to candidates anywhere in Nigeria.
• Compensation is negotiable and commission-heavy — the upside is in what you book and what closes.
• Founding scope: you own the motion, not a slice of it.
