Phoenix Industries is a leading manufacturer of resin-based furniture and household products in Sri Lanka, with 50 years of industry experience and an export presence in 18 countries. As part of our continued expansion and commitment to being closer to our customers, we are establishing operations in the UAE.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Executive to grow our furniture and household business in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sales, the ability to win new customers, and a proven drive to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sales of chairs, furniture and household products across Dubai and nearby areas.
• Identify and secure customers among retailers, wholesalers, hypermarkets, bazaars and premium retail outlets.
• Build lasting customer relationships and generate repeat business.
• Conduct regular customer visits, present products, prepare quotations and follow up on orders.
• Coordinate with our UAE warehouse to support timely deliveries and customer service.
• Follow up on payments and provide regular updates on sales, customer feedback and market opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous sales experience in chairs, furniture and household products is mandatory, preferably within the UAE.
• Experience working with retail and wholesale customers; an established customer network would be an advantage.
• Higher secondary education - Grade 12. A qualification in sales or marketing would be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a clear focus on achieving targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Dubai and nearby areas.

Location & working arrangement

UAE-based. The role will initially be home-based, with regular reporting to Sri Lanka and frequent customer visits in the UAE.

Remuneration

Negotiable salary based on experience, plus sales commission.
