Sales Executive / Business Development Executive

Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Sales Executive / Business Development Executive. The role involves identifying and qualifying prospective clients for AFC Holdings’ banking, insurance, leasing, and development finance solutions, with particular attention to agriculture-focused businesses. The individual will conduct outreach via calls, emails, and virtual meetings, present AFC Holdings’ services, prepare proposals, and follow up to close new business. Daily tasks include maintaining and updating a sales pipeline, conducting market and competitor research, and collaborating with internal teams to align client needs with appropriate products. The role also includes achieving agreed sales targets, providing feedback on customer needs, and supporting relationship management for key accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
• Client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and engage stakeholders remotely.
• Knowledge of financial services, ideally in areas such as banking, insurance, leasing, and development finance; exposure to agriculture finance is an advantage.
• Analytical and research abilities to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time setting.
• Proficiency with common office and CRM software tools for managing contacts, pipelines, and reporting.
• Relevant experience in sales or business development, preferably within financial services or agribusiness.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
