About the role
We are building a team of independent sales reps who sell water filtration systems through in-home water tests. The Onboarding Specialist guides each new rep candidate from first contact until they are ready for the field, then hands them to our in-house recruiter, who helps them close their first sale. Your main measure of success is how many candidates finish onboarding and become active reps.
Responsibilities:
- Contact new rep candidates quickly after they come into our CRM (GoHighLevel) and run a screening call using our screener questions.
- Schedule qualified Los Angeles-area candidates for an in-person factory tour and meeting with our team.
- Book each candidate's first onboarding call, which covers how to give our presentation and how to use our water testing tools.
- Walk candidates through purchasing their testing tools and chemicals.
- Teach our three Zoom training classes (presentation, tools, and process).
- Collect onboarding paperwork: ID, legal name, signed contractor agreement, tax information, and ACH/payment details.
- Review our do's and don'ts and company policies with every new rep.
- Follow up persistently by phone, text, and email so candidates don't stall between steps.
- Keep every candidate's status current in the GoHighLevel pipeline.
- Hand trained reps to the in-house recruiter and keep regular contact with the recruiter on each candidate's progress.
- Report weekly on pipeline numbers: candidates contacted, screened, toured, trained, and handed off.
Requirements:
- Fluent English with excellent phone skills; comfortable making a high volume of calls.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred, since many of our candidates are Spanish-speaking.
- 2+ years in recruiting, onboarding, sales coordination, or inside sales.
- Comfortable teaching and presenting over Zoom.
- Experience with a CRM; GoHighLevel is a plus.
- Organized and persistent: you follow up without being reminded.
- Trustworthy handling of personal documents (IDs, tax forms, banking information).
- Available during US Pacific business hours.
Success looks like
- New candidates contacted within [X minutes/hours] of entering the pipeline.
- A high percentage of screened candidates completing all three classes.
- A clean pipeline in which every candidate's stage is accurate.
Skills
- Fluent English with excellent phone skills comfortable making a high volume of calls, 2+ years in recruiting, onboarding, sales coordination, or inside sales, and available during US Pacific business hours.
