Sales Representative

Role Description The Owner role at Active Youth Leaders is a part-time remote position responsible for guiding the organization’s strategic direction and operational priorities. This role involves defining and refining mission-aligned initiatives, overseeing program planning, and ensuring that youth engagement remains at the center of all activities. The Owner will collaborate with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders, manage budgets and resources, and monitor the impact of education, environment, health, and livelihood projects. Day-to-day tasks include setting organizational goals, reviewing ongoing campaigns, supporting fundraising and partnership opportunities, and ensuring governance and compliance with relevant policies. The position also includes representing the organization in virtual meetings, public forums, and collaborative networks to strengthen its visibility and influence.

Qualifications

• Leadership and organizational management skills, including strategic planning, decision-making, and team coordination.
• Experience in community development, youth engagement, or nonprofit initiatives, with a focus on education, environment, health, or livelihoods.
• Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines, with basic financial literacy and project management capabilities.
• Comfort with remote work tools and digital collaboration platforms; ability to work independently and maintain accountability.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and non-discriminatory practices in leadership and program design.
• Previous experience in advocacy, policy engagement, or grassroots organizing is highly beneficial.
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in social sciences, public policy, nonprofit management, or a related field is preferred.
