Sales Specialist Los Angeles/Palm Springs

French wine distributor seeks a Sale Specialist for the Los Angeles/Palm Springs Area . Planet Wine LA, Inc is seeking an exceptional individual to join our highly efficient sales team who will be a cultural fit with our work ethic and exceedingly high standards, the type of person who takes great pride in their work. This position will require a person with a skill set that encompasses organization, communication, drive and an intimate knowledge of the wines and spirits across our portfolio which are primarily French. Responsibilities: Service existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships Network and build trusting relationships with existing and potential customers Be a knowledgeable resource and representative of the Planet Wine LA portfolio and products Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and provide reports and feedback as requested Coordinate and host events and tastings Qualifications: 3 years professional sales experience in the wine industry Minimum Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Sales, Business Development, Wine and Spirits WSET a plus! Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) Comprehension of European metric systems and wine making process Strong knowledge of wine regions in France – Champagne region a Plus! Comfortable with pitching wine in front of a group of professionals Willing to work irregular hours and independently Strong communication, time management and organizational skills Highly motivated and target driven
