Sales Support Specialist

Description Provide support to the Sales Team by performing quote take-offs and other sales-related duties. The Sales Support Specialist must be growth-minded as this role was designed as a springboard for other job opportunities within Chief, including but not limited to Estimator, Project Manager, and/or District Manager. Ideal candidates are open to relocating if the position requires. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify new business opportunities and qualify leads Develop a deep understanding of Chief’s products and services and use this knowledge to provide solutions for our builders. Serve as a bridge between the customer and Chief’s resources. Review plans and specifications to identify scope of work related to Chief. Input specific building information into Chief’s estimating program, myProject. Prepare Request for Approval packets as needed. Process sample/submittal requests. Market “Smart”/Autoquote jobs in designated markets to support plant utilization. Cover for DMs during vacations. Occasional travel required. Education: High school diploma or GED required Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, marketing, architecture, or engineering preferred, or minimum of five years experience in the metal building or construction industry.
