Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative for a leading Canadian banking client.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring a strong blend of solution architecture, technical design, development leadership, and enterprise integration expertise. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and development teams in a complex, highly regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) solutions.
  

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce architectures aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
  

• Lead development teams and conduct technical design and code reviews.
  

• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs and event-driven architectures.
  

• Drive architecture and design discussions with business and technology stakeholders.
  

• Establish development standards, DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and governance frameworks.
  

• Mentor developers and promote engineering excellence across the delivery team.
  

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Delivery Leads to define implementation roadmaps.
  

• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, risk, and data governance requirements.
  

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
  

• Proven experience leading Salesforce implementations in a Technical Lead or Solution Architecture capacity.
  

• Strong hands-on expertise with:
  

  • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
    

  • Sales Cloud
    

  • Service Cloud
    

  • Apex
    

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    

  • Salesforce Integrations and APIs
    

  • Platform Events
    

  • Salesforce Flow and Automation
    

  • Security and Sharing Model
    

• Experience designing enterprise integration solutions and API-led architectures.
  

• Strong understanding of Salesforce SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
  

• Experience leading distributed development teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering Salesforce solutions within Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, or Financial Services environments.
  

• Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations serving 1,000+ users.
  

• Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certifications.
  

• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud certification or accreditation.
  

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
  

• Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.
