Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Analytics Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise analytics solutions across the SAP landscape. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring deep technical expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP S/4HANA on RISE, combined with strong stakeholder engagement and solution leadership capabilities.
Location: Sydney, NSW
Salary: AUD 150,742 – 171,215 Annual Gross

Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design
- Architect and design end-to-end SAP Analytics solutions leveraging SAP S/4HANA on RISE, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Define analytics and data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing analytics platforms supporting reporting, planning, and advanced analytics use cases.
- Establish best practices, governance frameworks, and architecture standards for analytics solutions.
SAP Datasphere & Data Integration
- Lead the design and development of data models, semantic layers, and business data fabric solutions in SAP Datasphere.
- Architect data integration and replication strategies between SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Design and optimize data pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency, security, and performance.
- Drive integration approaches leveraging SAP native tools and modern data architecture principles.
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Design and oversee development of SAC stories, dashboards, and executive reporting solutions.
- Enable self-service analytics capabilities while maintaining governance and data integrity.
- Support planning, forecasting, and enterprise reporting initiatives leveraging SAC capabilities.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, design sessions, and solution demonstrations.
- Present architecture recommendations, technical decisions, and trade-offs to senior leadership and business executives.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to project teams, developers, and analysts.
Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure successful delivery of analytics initiatives from design through deployment.
- Evaluate and recommend new SAP analytics innovations and emerging technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in solution performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor team members and promote analytics best practices across the organization.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Technical Experience
- Extensive experience architecting SAP Analytics solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SAP Datasphere (data modeling, data integration, replication, semantic modeling)
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) (story design, dashboards, analytics, planning)
- SAP S/4HANA on RISE
- Architecting end-to-end data pipelines between SAP and non-SAP systems
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with integration patterns, API-based architectures, and data movement strategies.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services is highly desirable.
Consulting & Stakeholder Skills
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into practical and scalable SAP analytics solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical architectures in simple business terms.
- Experience presenting architecture solutions and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong client-facing consulting experience in onshore environments.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams, particularly teams based in India.
- Strong ownership mindset with accountability for delivery outcomes.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of influencing stakeholders across business and technology functions.
