Are you a Linux Systems Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, automating processes and keeping critical infrastructure running smoothly?

We’re looking for a Linux specialist to support and enhance enterprise systems in a hybrid role based in Sydney.

The role

• Manage, maintain and optimise Linux servers across production and non-production environments.
• Troubleshoot issues across operating systems, networking, storage and application infrastructure.
• Deliver patching, upgrades, security hardening and system monitoring.
• Automate routine tasks using Ansible and Bash or Python.
• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis and ongoing improvements to system reliability.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security and application teams.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures.

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience administering enterprise Linux environments, ideally RHEL, Ubuntu or similar distributions.
• Confident troubleshooting skills across Linux, networking and storage.
• Experience with scripting and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• An understanding of system security, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
• Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
