SAP B1 Developer | Hybrid | Mid-Shift

About the role

AVENSYS CONSULTING INC. is seeking a talented SAP B1 Developer to join our growing team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on enterprise resource planning solutions that drive business value for our clients. As a SAP B1 Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing customised SAP Business One solutions that address complex business requirements. Key responsibilities

• Design and develop customised applications and extensions for the SAP Business One platform using appropriate programming languages and frameworks
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct comprehensive testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Configure and optimise SAP B1 modules to meet specific business needs, including customisation of forms, workflows and reports
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues within SAP B1 implementations, providing timely support to end-users
• Participate in system integration activities and ensure seamless data flow between SAP B1 and other enterprise applications
• Document technical specifications, system designs and implementation approaches to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability
• Stay updated with the latest SAP B1 features, best practices and emerging technologies relevant to software development
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers when required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience with SAP Business One development, including strong knowledge of B1 SDK (Software Development Kit) and B1 Add-On development
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, SQL or other relevant languages used in SAP B1 development
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL query optimisation
• Experience with object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and business process optimisation is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of web technologies, API integration and RESTful services would enhance your candidacy
• Certifications in SAP B1 development or related technologies are desirable
