SAP CAPM Developer

Experience: 4 Years Total | 2+ Years Relevant
Location: Hyderabad / Bengaluru / Chennai / Pune
Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 Days Work from Office per Week
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Shift Timing: UK Shift – 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP CAPM Developer with hands-on expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM/CAP), SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, and SAP HANA Cloud.

The ideal candidate should have experience developing and deploying custom SAP UI5 applications on BTP, creating CAPM services, managing OData integrations, and handling database-related development and support activities.

The consultant will be responsible for application development, enhancements, issue resolution, and ensuring smooth application operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

  • Develop and maintain services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM/CAP).

  • Build, configure, and support OData V2 services.

  • Configure application roles, authorizations, and security settings.

  • Work with SAP HANA Cloud databases, including table creation, deployment, and data access.

  • Implement and support application enhancements based on business requirements.

  • Manage job scheduling and related application processes.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure successful development and deployment.

  • Support ongoing application maintenance and operational requirements.

Work Arrangement

  • Locations: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, or Pune

  • Work Mode: Hybrid

  • Office Attendance: 2 Days per Week

  • Shift Timing: UK Shift – 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST

  • Contract Duration: 6 Months

  • Background Verification: Mandatory



Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4 years of total professional experience, including 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM/CAP).

  • Strong development experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

  • Experience developing and deploying SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.

  • Practical experience creating and maintaining OData V2 services.

  • Experience configuring application roles, security, and authorizations.

  • Working knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud databases.

  • Experience with database table creation, deployment, and data access.

  • Ability to implement enhancements and resolve technical issues.

  • Experience with job scheduling and application support.

  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement with 2 days per week in the office.

  • Availability to work the UK shift (3:00 PM–12:00 AM IST).

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
