Role Description The SAP Consultant BCP BW S4 DSP Databricks role is a full-time remote position based in Braşov, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the consultant will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and design SAP and Databricks-based solutions that align with client objectives. Day-to-day activities include configuring and supporting SAP BCP, BW, S/4, DSP components, integrating master data, and ensuring reliable data flows between systems and Databricks. The consultant will collaborate with business and technical teams, will set up data extractions from BW/HANA and non-SAP systems into Datasphere, will set up data extractions from S4 using CDS views into Datasphere, supply the application with master data in Datasphere from the relevant source systems, set up reporting in Datasphere, set up the authorisation scheme in Datasphere, perform testing, document solutions, and provide user support and training. Ongoing responsibilities include monitoring system performance, recommending improvements, and contributing to project planning and implementation.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Consulting experience, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and solution recommendation.
• Knowledge of business processes, process mapping, and optimization within SAP landscapes (BCP, BW, S/4, DSP).
• Excellent knowledge of SAP ERP S/4 HANA, with data extraction skills from SAP S/4 HANA
• Excellent knowledge of SAP Core Data Services for data extraction
• SAP Datasphere – data modelling, SQL scripting
• SAP BW/4HANA
• Excellent knowledge of architecture with regard to data storage and data integration
• Excellent knowledge of Datasphere on the backend (data modelling and data integration)
• Excellent knowledge of DatasBricks on the backend (data modelling and data integration).
• Experience with SAC and PowerBI would be an advantage
• Experience with master data management, data modeling, and data quality practices in SAP and related tools.
• Integration skills with SAP modules and Databricks or similar data platforms, including ETL and data pipeline design.
• Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, testing, and support; familiarity with cloud or hybrid architectures is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in hybrid teams in Braşov, and readiness to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional certifications in SAP or cloud/data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure, AWS) are beneficial.
