Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI & APIM Developer to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise integration and API solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP API Management (APIM), and modern integration technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing integrations across SAP and non-SAP applications.

Depending on experience, the successful candidate may also contribute to solution architecture, integration governance, technical leadership, and mentoring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using SAP CPI (SAP Integration Suite).
• Build and manage APIs using SAP API Management (APIM).
• Develop integrations across SAP and third-party applications in cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Develop reusable integration assets and implement best practices following SAP Clean Core principles.
• Build integration flows using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, JDBC, SFTP, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
• Develop custom transformations, validations, and optimizations using Groovy and JavaScript.
• Design and implement event-driven integrations using SAP Event Mesh.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, SSL/TLS, API Keys, and Certificates.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations and APIs for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise integration solutions.
• For senior-level candidates, contribute to architecture reviews, mentor junior developers, and help define integration standards and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• 5–10+ years of SAP Integration development experience
• Strong expertise in SAP CPI (SAP Integration Suite)
• Hands-on experience with SAP API Management (APIM)
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Strong knowledge of API lifecycle management and API-first architecture
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting
• Experience with SAP Event Mesh
• Understanding of SAP Clean Core methodology
• Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, JDBC, SFTP, JSON, XML, and XSLT
• Strong understanding of authentication and security standards including OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, SSL/TLS, API Keys, and Certificates
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise integration environments

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BTP Integration Suite Certification
• Experience with Azure Integration Services (Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure File Share)
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum delivery
• Experience with enterprise API governance and large-scale integration programs
