Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: Pentoz is seeking an experienced SAP IS Defense & Security Expert to support mission-critical ERP transformation initiatives for defense, aerospace, and national security sectors. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Industry Solutions tailored for defense-specific requirements including project system integration, procurement, logistics, compliance, and security protocols. This is a high-impact role for professionals with deep industry and SAP functional expertise. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end SAP IS Defense & Security solution implementation including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and support Configure and enhance modules specific to the defense sector such as Defense Project Management (DPM), Force Elements, Operational Readiness, and Maintenance Management Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional and regulatory requirements and align them with SAP best practices Integrate SAP IS Defense with core ERP modules such as MM, PM, PS, HCM, and FI/CO Ensure compliance with defense-specific standards including NATO codification, export controls, and secure supply chain practices Design role-based access control structures aligned with defense-grade information security policies Facilitate data migration, master data governance, and document handling in secure environments Conduct system testing, user training, and change management for defense users and administrators Provide support for audits, certifications, and security assessments relevant to defense IT landscapes Continuously evaluate and improve system performance, usability, and compliance Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience working with SAP IS Defense & Security or in defense-related SAP implementations Deep knowledge of SAP modules used in defense environments including PM, PS, MM, and Logistics Proven experience in deploying ERP systems in compliance with defense procurement and project lifecycle standards Strong understanding of secure logistics, materials management, and asset tracking Experience working with public sector or defense organizations globally Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Defense Studies, or a related field Ability to manage and deliver projects remotely with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications: SAP Certification in IS Defense & Security or Public Sector Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA for Defense, SAP Fiori apps for military logistics, or SAP BW/4HANA for reporting Knowledge of military standards (e.g., MIL-STD), ITAR, DFARS, or other government regulations Experience with integration of SAP systems with weapon systems, battlefield logistics tools, or defense maintenance software Exposure to cybersecurity protocols or secure cloud hosting for defense environments What We Offer: Remote-first opportunity with global defense and aerospace clients Competitive salary with project-based incentives Work on impactful, mission-critical systems in secure environments Access to cutting-edge SAP industry tools and defense-specific modules Career advancement path toward SAP Defense Solution Architect or ERP Program Lead About Pentoz: Pentoz is a forward-thinking tech company committed to delivering digital innovation and secure enterprise solutions across industries.
