Job Description This is a remote position. SAP IS-Mining Expert: Optimize Extraction. Power Digital Mines. Scale Natural Resources. Pentoz is seeking an experienced SAP IS-Mining Expert to lead the design and implementation of integrated SAP solutions tailored to the complexities of the mining industry . You’ll help digitize end-to-end processes from mine planning and operations to logistics, sustainability, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities Configure and implement SAP IS-Mining components for: Mine Operations & Production Planning Commodity Management & Valuation Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Supply Chain, Logistics, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Integrate with SAP PM, MM, QM, SD, FI/CO , and SAP EH&S for cross-functional coordination Support bulk material handling , blend optimization , and grade control tracking Enhance productivity and safety through integration with IoT sensors , digital twin systems , and mobile field apps Enable sustainable mining practices and regulatory compliance through digital reporting and carbon footprint analysis You Bring 5+ years of experience in SAP IS-Mining or SAP implementations in natural resources, metals, or energy sectors Deep knowledge of mine-to-market operations , including extraction, beneficiation , and bulk transport logistics Experience with asset-intensive environments , predictive maintenance , and production reconciliation Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA for Mining , SAP MII , and field mobility or GIS integration Strong process knowledge, stakeholder alignment, and change management expertise Requirements SAP IS-Mining, Mine Planning, Commodity Management, SAP PM/MM/SD/FI Integration, Predictive Maintenance, EH&S Compliance, S/4HANA Mining, IoT & Mobility, Sustainability Analytics Benefits Digitize complex mining operations across India’s growing resource economy Work remotely in an agile, innovation-led team shaping industrial sustainability Power visibility, efficiency, and safety in mineral value chains Help us redefine resource management through real-time data and automation
