Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: Pentoz is looking for an experienced SAP IS-Retail Expert to join our remote consulting team. This role is ideal for professionals with deep domain expertise in the retail and supermarket sectors, focusing on implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP IS-Retail solutions. As a strategic team member, you will play a vital role in transforming legacy retail processes into agile, digital-first operations across merchandising, procurement, inventory, and store execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation and customization of SAP IS-Retail solutions for supermarket and retail operations Analyze client requirements, design retail-specific process flows, and configure modules accordingly Set up and optimize Master Data Management including Article Master, Site Master, Vendor Master, and Assortments Implement Retail Pricing, Promotions, Markdown Management, and POS integration Enable efficient merchandise planning, allocation, replenishment, and inventory control Integrate SAP IS-Retail with SAP SD, MM, FI, and BW for a seamless end-to-end solution Support interfaces with external systems such as eCommerce platforms, loyalty programs, and mobile POS Conduct system testing, data migration, training, and go-live support Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement for retail operations Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business alignment, compliance, and user adoption Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP IS-Retail module implementations Deep understanding of retail industry processes including merchandise management, promotions, pricing, and store operations Strong expertise in SAP Retail Master Data and integration with core ERP components Experience with POS data management, vendor consignment, and stock transfer processes Proven ability to deliver full lifecycle implementations in the retail or supermarket domain Excellent communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams and retail stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP S/4HANA for Retail and SAP Fiori apps Familiarity with modern retail models including omnichannel, click-and-collect, or last-mile delivery Exposure to SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository), SAP Hybris, or other retail analytics tools SAP IS-Retail certification or training credentials Experience working with international supermarket chains or franchise-based retail networks What We Offer: Remote-first work environment with flexibility and autonomy Competitive salary with project bonuses and performance incentives Access to transformative SAP projects in global retail businesses Opportunity to evolve into roles like SAP Retail Architect, Solution Lead, or Program Manager Collaborative and innovative culture backed by a growing digital transformation firm About Pentoz: Pentoz is a future-driven technology and consulting company focused on building the next generation of digital businesses.
