SAP Logistics Expert (f/m/d)

Job Description For our IT & Data department at our location in Hamburg we are looking for a colleague who starts at the earliest possible date as SAP Logistics Expert (f/m/d) Your tasks: We make the difference together Independently manage SAP Requests for Change (RfCs) from initiation to implementation Provide functional and technical support for strategic logistics and supply chain projects Bridge modern SAP solutions with the requirements of production sites and existing legacy systems Conduct feasibility assessments and develop functional solution concepts Configure SAP systems and coordinate testing and implementation activities Analyze, design, and optimize end-to-end logistics processes across SAP MM, TM, and WM/EWM Ensure seamless integration between SAP and related modules such as PP (Production Planning) and SD (Sales & Distribution) Support and optimize interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and existing warehouse and logistics systems Advise business departments including Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehousing, and Dispatch on the implementation of their requirements Create and maintain system documentation, testing materials, and training documentation Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for key users and business stakeholders Work closely with internal IT teams and external SAP consulting partners Ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of system changes Your profile: We like what makes you stand out You hold a university degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification At least five years of practical experience as an SAP Logistics Consultant or SAP Application Specialist Strong expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management), procurement, and inventory management Solid experience with SAP WM/EWM (Warehouse Management / Extended Warehouse Management) Knowledge of or practical experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) Experience integrating SAP with external logistics, warehouse, or third-party logistics (3PL) systems Understanding of the requirements and processes within the food and FMCG industry Knowledge of batch management, shelf-life management (SLED/MHD), and cold-chain logistics Experience with SAP S/4HANA; familiarity with SAP BTP, SAP IBP, or SAP Ariba is considered an advantage Knowledge of IT service management and change management methodologies (e.g., ITIL) Excellent communication and consulting skills Fluent English skills; German language skills are advantageous Your benefits: We support your development Work with one of the most advanced SAP landscapes in the food industry Access to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) High degree of ownership in shaping architecture, processes, and solution designs Direct impact on the digital future of FRoSTA's logistics operations Join a stable and sustainable market leader in the food industry International collaboration within an open and cooperative team environment Flat hierarchies and fast decision-making processes Individual training and certification opportunities, particularly in the SAP S/4HANA environment Opportunity to contribute to strategic transformation and digitalization initiatives Flexible working hours as well as hybrid and remote working options Are you looking for a new challenge in a competitive environment?
