SAP SD / Integration Consultant

For a long-term project with a top-tier global FMCG client, we are looking for a SAP SD / Integration Consultant.

This role is a good fit for someone with solid functional SAP SD knowledge who also understands the technical side of integrations and is comfortable working closely with Integration Teams.

Project setup

• Contract: B2B

• Work model: mainly remote

• Travel: maximum once per quarter to the client site

• Travel expenses: fully covered by the client

• Client: top-tier global FMCG company

Your responsibilities

• Support SAP SD processes, with a focus on:

  • Sales Orders

  • Sales Invoices

  • Outbound Delivery

  • Shipping

• Work on SAP integrations with external warehouses and logistics providers (3PL / WMS).

• Support integrations between SAP and customer systems.

• Prepare functional specifications and interface mappings for the Integration Team.

• Work with EDI, IDoc and API-based integrations.

• Prepare and maintain interface mappings in OpenText.

• Cooperate closely with SAP functional, integration and business teams.

• Participate in end-to-end integration testing with customers and external systems.

• Support analysis and troubleshooting of integration-related issues.

The project currently includes approximately 15+ EDI interfaces.

What we are looking for

• Good hands-on knowledge of SAP SD.

• Practical experience with Sales Orders, Billing, Outbound Delivery and Shipping processes.

• Experience integrating SAP with external 3PL / WMS solutions.

• Good understanding of EDI and IDoc.

• Basic understanding of API integrations.

• Experience with OpenText, especially preparing interface mappings.

• Ability to create clear functional specifications and mapping documentation.

• Experience with end-to-end integration testing.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both functional and technical teams.

We are primarily looking for a functional SAP SD Consultant with strong integration understanding.

You do not need to be a developer. What matters is that you understand how interfaces work, can prepare mappings and functional specifications, and can effectively cooperate with the Integration Team.
