Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: Pentoz is looking for an experienced SAP SEM (Strategic Enterprise Management) Expert to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise performance management solutions. The role involves delivering strategic planning, financial consolidation, and performance monitoring functionalities using SAP SEM across global client environments. You’ll work closely with finance, strategy, and IT teams to drive data-driven decision-making and align corporate strategies with operational execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of SAP SEM modules, including Business Planning and Simulation (BPS), Business Consolidation System (BCS), and Corporate Performance Monitor (CPM) Work with clients to design strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes using SEM-BPS Configure and manage consolidation processes, group accounting, and reporting using SEM-BCS Integrate SAP SEM with core SAP systems such as SAP FI/CO, BW (Business Warehouse), and BI tools Enable data modeling, key figure configuration, and reporting structures that support KPIs, variance analysis, and strategic scorecards Design and implement corporate dashboards, strategic maps, and performance indicators aligned with business objectives Provide training, support, and documentation for end-users and finance/strategy stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, data integrity, and alignment across platforms Stay updated on SAP SEM best practices and support clients transitioning to S/4HANA-compatible performance tools Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience working with SAP SEM, especially SEM-BPS and SEM-BCS Strong background in corporate performance management, financial planning, and strategic analysis In-depth understanding of integration with SAP BW, FI/CO, and external reporting systems Hands-on experience configuring planning layouts, data slices, aggregation levels, and characteristic relationships Experience working on financial consolidation and intercompany eliminations in SAP SEM-BCS Excellent analytical skills and business acumen, with a focus on strategic planning and enterprise performance Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage projects remotely and collaborate across distributed teams Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field Preferred Qualifications: SAP Certification in SEM, BW, or FI/CO Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Group Reporting, or BPC for clients transitioning away from SEM Experience with Balanced Scorecard frameworks and strategic alignment tools Exposure to industries such as manufacturing, financial services, or public sector Knowledge of S/4HANA migration strategies for performance management solutions What We Offer: 100% remote work with flexible scheduling options Competitive compensation and bonus structure Access to strategic, high-impact transformation projects Fast-track career development toward roles like Enterprise Performance Architect or SAP Transformation Lead Collaborative, innovation-driven work culture with a global delivery model About Pentoz: Pentoz is a future-focused technology company committed to enterprise transformation through smart, efficient platforms.
