Are you a chemist with a commercial edge? This is your chance to combine both in a newly created sales role with a global life science technology business, working remotely from anywhere in the UK.

The opportunity

My client supplies chemistry consumables used in drug discovery, development and analytical labs worldwide, and they’re investing in growth. This new role sits at the heart of the EMEA commercial team. You’ll create the opportunities that drive consumables sales, working alongside a field sales team that’s ready to convert them.

It’s a genuine chance to shape a role from day one, with the backing of an established global business.

What you’ll deliver

• Run targeted sales campaigns that generate new leads across EMEA

• Build and manage a healthy pipeline, qualifying and progressing opportunities from first contact to sale

• Follow up marketing leads quickly and turn interest into real business

• Work closely with Account Managers, including joining them in the field from time to time to see how deals are won

• Prepare quotations and handle sample, literature and demo requests

• Keep the CRM accurate so every opportunity is visible and tracked

• Deliver against clear monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs

What you’ll bring

• A degree in chemistry or a related chemical science

• An understanding of organic chemistry workflows

• Sales experience, ideally in scientific consumables or lab products

• Real commercial drive: you’re motivated by targets and enjoy picking up the phone

• Confidence talking with scientists in pharma, CROs and academia

• The organisation to juggle multiple opportunities while working independently

• £35,000–£45,000 base salary, depending on experience

• Fully remote within the UK, with occasional travel to the UK head office

Location
